The Lubrication of NSK Bearings

The purpose of lubricateing NSK bearings is to reduce internal friction and wear and prevent burning. The effectiveness of NSK bearing lubricating as follow:
（1）、To reduce friction and wear.
To use lubricating grease in the rings, rolling element and the frictional parts in retainer in oder to reduce friction and wear.
（2）、To extend the fatigue life.
 In the rotation, if the rolling contact surface has be good lubricated, NSK bearing fatigue life will be extended. On the contrary, NSK bearing fatigue life will be shortened.
（3）、To throw off heat of friction and cooling.
To avoid NSK bearing overheating and avoid lubricating oil aging itself.
（4）、Others
Also to avoid the foreign body entry into the internal bearings of NSK bearing, or to prevent NSK bearings from rust, corrosion effects.
