Self-aligning Ball Bearings

Self-aligning Ball Bearings are the bearings with drum-shaped roller between inner ring with two raceways and outer ring with sphere raceways. The curvature center of outer ring raceway surface correspond with bearing center, as a result, it has the same self-aligning properties as Automatic Self-aligning Ball Bearings.

Self-aligning Ball Bearings can bear radial load and axial load. Self-aligning ball bearings can withstand greater radial load and also a certain degree of axial load. Self-aligning ball bearings have two types inner holes, that’s cylindrical-shaped hole and cone-shaped hole. If Inner diameter of the bearing is taper hole, it would be installed directly. Usually we use stamping steel retainer or lathe-manufactured Copper Alloys retainer. However, we also use polyamide forming retainer.

Self-aligning Ball Bearings are applied to bear heavy loads and impact load, precision instruments, low noise motors, automobiles, motorcycles, metallurgy, mill, mining, petroleum, paper, cement, sugar, and other general machinery industries.
